The rupture indicator that can survive the disc's breakage
In all those cases where an industrial plant processes corrosive or aggressive substances, it is often impossible to install a traditional rupture indicator. For this reason, magnetic sensors have been introduced. They couple a disc-mounted actuator with a sensor installed outside of the piping itself, and thus protected from the subestances running through the pipes and from the the consequences of the disc’s rupture under excessive pressure.
DonadonSDD’s magnetic rupture indicators combine the reliable performance and advantages of magnetic technology with an ATEX certification which allows for their installation even in those plants which present explosion risks and are thus regulated by such stringent standards.
